About me

I am a lecturer in Structural Engineering at Newcastle University in the UK. Before that, I was a research fellow at the Vibration Engineering Section (VES) at the University of Exeter funded by Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship. I obtained my Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Waterloo in Canada followed by a postdoctoral training on timber engineering at the University of Alberta. My current research interests include vibration serviceability, human-structure interaction, mass timber structures and analytical modelling of structural elements with complicated boundary conditions, attachments and discontinuities.
